The overarching plot of it centers around a powerful magical artifact called the Heart of the World, which has the power to grant immense magical abilities to those who possess it. The Heart of the World is believed to be hidden somewhere in Arboreus, and many guilds are searching for it in order to gain its power and become the dominant force in the world.
As you continue and progress through the game, you will encounter various factions, monsters, and NPCs who will offer quests and challenges to overcome. Along the way, you will gather resources, craft powerful equipment, and build alliances with other players to strengthen your guild's position. However, it has a steep learning curve for new players, with many complex systems to master.
Early Access stage and moreReign of Guilds has finally entered the Early Access stage, allowing players to explore it in its first playable stage as it develops further. Accompanying that are a handful of in-game changes. For instance, the duration of Castle Elixirs has undergone significant adjustments, now extending up to T7 elixirs. A new system of bills has been introduced for acquiring elixirs, including seasonal bill offers.
Inventory slots for all rooms have been increased, as well, hence making way for a surge in real estate costs. Additionally, each room now contains a single chest consolidating all slots, thus streamlining inventory management. Meanwhile, a novel approach to Dynamic Value Balancing has been implemented, featuring large balances, slower price rollback, and increased maximum costs upon price increases. Experience gain on T1 parcels has been reduced by 30%.
At the same time, game version-based character inspection window designs have been introduced, alongside NPCs offering cosmetics and the application of said cosmetics to in-game items. The reward shop will see gradual content additions, along with fixes addressing fabric simulation and visual errors on skins. On the other hand, display adjustments for party markers above characters and resolutions to issues such as party disbandment delays and leadership transfer glitches have been implemented.
Some enhancements to the in-game chat are applied, as well. There are server and client optimizations in place now, and service speed for the server manager and queue server has been improved for smoother flow. Finally, light cosmetic updates like new item and ability icons, as well as time-based environmental sound playback periods, have been employed.
